Nancy L. McConathy

Library Event (Passed)

Thursday, October 29th the Nancy L. McConathy Public Library will hold a STEM program as part of the LIGHTS ON Afterschool. This nationwide event, organized by the Afterschool Alliance, calls attention to the importance of afterschool programs and the resources required to keep the lights on and the doors open. The McConathy Public Library is proud to be a LIGHTS ON Afterschool partner.

Our special guest will be Devonte Turner, Head of Circulation here at the library. Devonte will lead us as we engage, explore, and evaluate the Solar System. Once completed those who attend will be able to explain, evaluate, and elaborate more as they have gained more understanding of the concepts used in the program. For more information about Lights on Afterschool or about afterschool programs in general, visit here.
